Yuri El Salto is a natural attraction torrent type.
It's a nice little jump height, which offers visitors the chance to bathe.
- Canaima Camp is exited and made a crossing in the Sabana jeep to Puerto Verde. Here you take a canoe and a half hour browsing to Puerto Yuri, from where it began a walk of about 30 minutes to get to the falls and Yuri beach, where you can take a refreshing and relaxing bath, then return back to camp.
Aspects of interest are the black waters of the river Carrao, the common denominator of most of the rivers that form part of the Caroni River Basin. This water has a very dark color, usually a brown hue - red, which is caused by the high concentration of organic acids and tannins. The foam is produced in large quantities in the rapids and waterfalls, is caused by the high content of saponins (natural soap plant) is dissolved in water and stir as many trapped air bubbles.
